Asking Better Questions
It's not a passion problem. It's a question problem.
Most Bible teachers were never taught how to teach.
They were handed a curriculum, pointed at a classroom, and trusted to figure it out. And they did because they love God, love their students, and show up every week ready to serve.
But somewhere between the lesson and the students, something gets lost. The questions fall flat. The discussion stalls. Students nod along but nothing changes.
It's not a passion problem. It's a question problem.
Asking Better Questions is a free four-part workshop that teaches you one of the most practical tools in education — Bloom's Taxonomy — and shows you exactly how to use it in your Bible class. You'll learn how to ask the right questions in the right order, how to build lessons that take students from basic knowledge to life change, and how to equip the people you teach to study Scripture on their own.
Each session is less than eight minutes. Each one comes with a reflection worksheet and a set of tiered action steps so you can immediately put what you learn into practice.
No teaching degree required. No jargon. Just practical tools you can use this Sunday.
What you'll learn:
Why most Bible class questions don't work — and the simple fix
The six levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and how they apply to Bible teaching
How to build questions that create real understanding, not just recall
How to move students from "I know this" to "I'm doing this"
How to develop independent Bible students who can study on their own
Your students deserve a teacher who asks better questions. This workshop will help you become one.

Why Your Questions Aren't Working
You're not a bad Bible teacher. But the questions you're asking might be working against you. In this first session, you'll discover why so many Bible class questions fall flat — and meet the simple six-level framework that will change the way you teach forever. This is where everything begins.
-
Questions that Build Foundation
Great Bible teaching starts with a foundation — and most teachers skip it entirely. In this session, you'll learn the first two levels of Bloom's Taxonomy: Remember and Understand. You'll walk away with six questions already written for your next lesson and a clear understanding of why these foundational levels are the most important ones you'll ever ask.

Questions that Create Transformation
Knowing the Bible is not the same as living it. In this session, you'll learn the Apply level of Bloom's Taxonomy — the place where head knowledge becomes heart change. You'll discover the three keys to asking application questions that actually stick, and you'll leave with nine questions written for your next Bible lesson.

Developing Independent Learners
The goal of Bible teaching isn't to create students who need you — it's to create students who can study Scripture on their own. In this final session, you'll learn the three highest levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and discover exactly how to equip the people you teach to keep growing long after class ends.
